On The Record with Craigus Barry (Dali Bonus Edition)

On The Record with Craigus Barry (Dali Bonus Edition)

This is a special On The Record songwriting edition based on the track Dali by The Retinal Circus aka Craigus Barry, there are lots of terrific songs by local artists that deserve the classic album treatment but Craigus explains the construction of this song beautifully, especially the lyrics and also the input from Ed Steelefox and John Joe Murray on the way 🙂

Bonus Edition: On The Record, The BBC Introducing Radio Spots!

As well as being a contributor to the series, BBC’s Andrew Marston also provided some great support for On The Record by putting together slots on his  Introducing show for all our interviewees (not himself…professional to the end), I recorded these for a little bonus feature to mark the end of the current series.

On The Record with John Joe Murray (Part 2)

John Joe Murray talks about the politics of musicians and the music industry, the inner workings of the bands he’s played in. He also tells how he played his inherited violin at his grandfathers funeral and life on the road with Robinson, The Narcoleptic Penguin and the European tour with Johnny Kowalski and The Sexy Weirdos.
